Craig's List offers many useful tools for freelancers, despite it's simplistic design and functionality. You can find freelance gigs, post your freelance services, sell for cash, network with other freelancers and even find a freelance office space! Read more to find out how.
If you are a full time freelancer, looking for paid gigs, Craig’s List is one of the greatest places to find freelance gigs and also to network with other freelancers.
Craig’s List works by areas, so there is a directory listing for most big cities. But, their gigs section has opportunities for freelancers to work from home, so you can browse through all of their city directories and find gigs that you are qualified for. But, it is probably most beneficial to start in your area, as some of the opportunities require a meeting or interview. In order to find your city’s Craig’s List directory, simply type in your browser

Of course, fill in your city with the city you are closest to. You can also Google Craig’s List and type in your city that way.
Craig’s List has a specific section dedicated to freelancers; they call it the “gigs” section. Once you are at the Craig’s List directory, look in the lower right hand corner for opportunities marked, “Gigs”
