			<title>The RNC makes me feel Uneasy and Odd</title>
			<link>http://leniche.com/news/the-rnc-makes-me-feel-uneasy-and-odd.html</link>
			<description>
After Sarah Palin delivered her acceptance speech last night for vice presidential nominee as the dynamic crutch for McCains unappealing campaign, an uneasy feeling swept through me. This following a Rudy Guliani speech that made me feel awkward, bewildered and a little angry. Facts were distorted, exaggerations were the norm and his analogies were backwards. It&amp;#39;s true, they take pride in being ignorant. Republicans are turning into that annoying bully of sorts that keeps repeating the same thing, and laughing, whether true or not.

To old to coach football at 68 years old--four years younger than McCain

			<title>DNC notes and coverage</title>
			<link>http://leniche.com/news/dnc-notes-and-coverage.html</link>
			<description>It&amp;#39;s time for the DNC and that means one thing, link and video propaganda.

Here McCain argues that Ameriicans won&amp;#39;t do jobs for $50 an hour. Hmmm...McCain  easily sounds angry, out-of-touch and a real bummer:

McCain will soon be 72 years old

			<title>Tim Russert Dies: Now What?</title>
			<link>http://leniche.com/news/tim-russert-dies--now-what.html</link>
			<description>

Stephen Colbert and Tim Russert

Tim Russert was my favorite analyst and it sucks that he&amp;#39;s dead. Along with a bunch of other people, I have been glued to the election coverage and Russert was the best. He was truly balanced in his presentation but I&amp;#39;m positive Barack Obama lost a vote with Russert&amp;#39;s death. Along with a bunch of the media (and me) it was hard for him to hide his enthusiasm for Obama and the way Americans are awakening to the political landscape once again.

			<title>Wartime Stories</title>
			<link>http://leniche.com/news/wartime-stories.html</link>
			<description>
In 2007 a conference was held just outside Washington D.C. that got very little coverage but featured some dramatic stories from Iraq and Afganistan war veterans. John Michael Turners testimony may have been the most intense.

I recommend everyone doing a google search for this conference to hear more of the stories.
